Fix My Street
Report a pothole, dark streetlight or other street problem to the right agency with a ready-to-send letter.
What it does
- Pick the problem: pothole, streetlight out, traffic signal, sign, sidewalk, debris, drainage, graffiti or illegal dumping.
- Enter where it is and who owns the road, and it tells you which agency handles it (city 311, county road department or state DOT), with the official link.
- It writes a complete, polite service-request letter, with an optional GPS map link and a request for a work-order number.
- Download a PDF, open it in email pre-filled, copy the letter or open the agency site.
- Safety notes appear when needed, such as calling 911 for a dark traffic signal or highway debris.
Where it runs and what stays private
Works offline. Nothing is uploaded.
Good to know
- Direct 311 links cover the 21 city 311 pages verified on Oct 11, 2026. Elsewhere it says the city isn't in the verified list and links to the USA.gov local government directory.
- State DOT links cover all 50 states, DC and Puerto Rico.
